Newcastle artist David Griffen opens his Hamilton studio in mid-November, presenting an intimate exhibition that brings together ceramics and black-and-white photography inspired by Australian botanicals.

The show marks twelve months of experimentation in clay and the launch of Griffen’s new Kiln Ceramics range - a collection of slip-cast vessels and tableware featuring botanical forms and surface impressions.

Alongside these new works, visitors can explore Griffen’s darkroom prints, which continue his study of native plants through light, tone, and texture.
