Ink, Paper, Print
A wide-ranging survey of contemporary print practice by members of Newcastle Printmakers Workshop, featuring new editions and one-off works across relief, intaglio, collagraph, monotype, screen, chine-collé and experimental hybrids. From crisp graphic statements to richly worked plates, the exhibition celebrates the technical inventions and collaborative spirit that have energised NPW for decades. Visitors can explore process through notes and proofs, compare papers and plates, and see how printmaking continues to expand the possibilities for image-making in the region. Opening afternoon 2–4pm. It’s a lively snapshot of printmaking in Newcastle right now—curious, collaborative and technically adventurous. The show also highlights the role of print studios as places to share tools, solve problems and pass knowledge between generations.
