Transition Blue is a photographic and mixed‑media project by Newcastle‑based artist Megan Farquhar that unfolds across a period of shifting thresholds—where beauty sits beside grief and stillness meets quiet dread. Captured primarily in a backyard setting, the series reflects on postpartum anticipation and the fragility of new beginnings, using natural light and everyday textures to hold memory, longing and the weight of things unspoken. Presented at Onwards Gallery, the exhibition opens 6–9pm on Saturday 6 September and runs 6–14 September in the gallery, continuing online until 19 September 2025.
