Windows on the Wetlands brings together members of Newcastle Printmakers Workshop and ceramic artists Jenepher Surbey and Juliet Ackery in an exhibition inspired by the biodiversity of the Hunter Wetlands.

Newcastle Printmakers Workshop is Australia’s longest-running open-access printmaking workshop. Based in Adamstown, it has strong connections with the local community, including the Hunter Wetlands Centre.

The exhibition is the result of a small group of members spending time at the wetlands over the past 18 months. Working across a range of printmaking techniques, the artists have created works reflecting the landscape, plant life and wildlife of this significant local environment.

Ceramic artists Jenepher Surbey and Juliet Ackery bring a three-dimensional element to the exhibition. Their work explores colour, texture and textiles, offering a rare opportunity to see a selection of their recent ceramic pieces.

Exhibition launch: Saturday 25 July 2026, 3.30–5pm
