BASE Art Space is a flexible creative studio in Carrington, supporting artists, students and the wider community through classes, workshops and exhibitions.

Based at Studio97, BASE offers afternoon and evening programs in painting, drawing, sculpture and printmaking for teens and adults, alongside in-school art incursions for preschool, primary and high-school students. The space also hosts STILL Life Social Evenings — relaxed, guided group sessions exploring still life drawing for all experience levels.

In addition to classes, BASE provides support for exhibition preparation, artwork photography, HSC Art studies, and flexible studio hire for ongoing practice or short-term projects. BASE Art Space is wheelchair accessible, a Service NSW Creative Kids provider, and all teachers hold current WWCC.
