Hunter Wetlands Centre Artspace

Hunter Wetlands Centre Australia includes an on-site exhibition space that presents a rotating program of art and community-led shows within its wetland setting.

Exhibitions often connect art with nature, community engagement and the local environment, bringing together ecological themes, creative practice and place. The program regularly incorporates workshops, participatory projects and artist-in-residence elements, inviting visitors to experience art as part of the living landscape rather than separate from it.

Presented alongside the Centre’s broader public programs, the exhibition space offers an accessible and informal context for artists to respond to wetlands, wildlife and environmental stewardship, and for audiences to encounter art through shared experience and learning.
