Maitland Regional Art Gallery

Located on Wonnarua Country at the gateway to the Hunter Valley, Maitland Regional Art Gallery (MRAG) is a leading regional gallery serving the Maitland community, the Hunter region and visiting audiences.

The gallery presents a strong program of award-winning exhibitions alongside public programs, education initiatives and a long-standing Arts & Health program. Multiple exhibition spaces are complemented by guided tours, a gallery shop featuring artisan works, and Séraphine Café.

MRAG’s collection spans more than 7,000 works by Australian and international artists, growing through considered acquisitions and significant donations. Family-friendly Art Trails and digital resources support engagement both on site and beyond the gallery.
