Watt Space Gallery (UON)
Watt Space Gallery is a student-led art venue located at Northumberland House in the Newcastle CBD City Campus precinct, run through the University of Newcastle. It was founded in 1989 by student advocates as a space for creative experimentation and continues to showcase work by emerging and established cross-disciplinary artists and curators. The gallery operates during the university year from mid-February to mid-December, generally open Wednesday through Sunday, and offers current students opportunities in forming exhibitions, curation, and gallery-management practice.
